Todd Whitney


Todd Whitney is a Masters candidate at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program. Before NYU, Todd worked as a radio producer for NPR and KALW public radio in San Francisco. His research and reporting often focus on our personal relationships with technology and their societal impacts. His current research project is supported by The Citizen Lab and focuses on the impact of targeted surveillance of Black artists and how it influences their art practice.

Todd holds a Masters in Afro-American Studies from the University of Wisconsin and a Bachelors in International Studies from the University of Illinois.
