Jamie Macbeth


Jamie Macbeth is an assistant professor of computer science in the School of Engineering at Fairfield University.  In his research, he builds computer systems for in-depth understanding of natural language with applications in cyberbullying prevention and violence interruption, and he designs systems that interact with humans to collect and organize the structured knowledge of social concepts needed for language understanding.  He was previously a postdoctoral fellow at Clemson University and a postdoctoral research associate at MIT.
