Enes Lima is a Masters of Social Work candidate at Columbia University with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice and Mental Health. Before Columbia, Enes graduated with honors from Grand Canyon University, earning a Bachelor of Science In Counseling With An Emphasis In Addiction, Chemical Dependency, And Substance Abuse. While in Arizona, Enes worked 4 years providing community in-home based counseling serving Gila River Native American Tribe. Prior, Enes worked in Charlotte, NC with community organizing and mentoring Latinx immigrant youth. Enes also has completed an internship as a counselor/School Social Worker at Harlem Village Academy. He has a research interest in trauma resulting from community-based violence, social-political and historical disadvantages. Enes hopes to ultimately provide individual and family therapy to survivors of trauma and assist in creative work that promotes an overall increase health and social awareness.
